Operation & Port Calls

The Benefit Operation module composes the main implement of monitory of vessel's activity in every Port Call. Τhe information is entered by users of the Operation Department as well the users of all other Departments, that have access in the information.

Main Features

Information in detail for every Port the vessel has called or is scheduled to call (next port calls or intention port calls) is being recorded as follows:

  • The Port is selected from Port list (about 10,000 ports) or entered descriptively.
  • ETA, ETB, ETD or actual Arrival, Berthed, Departure date & time (LT & GMT).
  • The Activities (loading, discharging, supply, repair etc).
  • Port agents and 'appointed by' (Head charterer, Protected Owner, Sub charterer etc) are being defined and consequently agent's full style is retrieved from agent card.
  • The voyage is selected from voyage list and consequently the charterer, the brokers as well the F/N description appear.
  • Cargo description and loaded or discharged quantity.
  • The vessel works that are scheduled to be done in the port call (e.g. Supplies / Spare Parts delivery, Crew change, Superintendent Attendance etc.).
  • The Attachment documents (e.g. cargo documents).
  • The Vessel works are entered by the Operation Department’s authorized users and the users of all departments.
  • The description of Vessel work information as date, reference, origination, and department is entered.
  • The results are classified defining the category and sub category of Vessel work.
  • The system keeps log for any vessel work for audit purposes (e.g. disbursements accounts cross checking).

Reports

Position List

  • The Port that every vessel calls or the next port call appears with related information as: ΕΤΑ, ΕΤΒ, ETD, Activity, Agent, Voyage, Charterer.
  • The user has straight access in all detailed information as: next port calls, previous port calls, agents, agent’s history, vessel works, charterers, brokers, subcharters etc.

Agent History

  • All the attended port calls for every agent and for a specific period are reported.
  • The attended agents can be ‘searched’ for a particular Port.

Vessel Works List

  • The status of vessel works is reported based on various criteria.
